This seniors’ group started as an outreach project of Elmwood in September 1987. Its aim was to provide a ‘drop-in Centre’, with coffee and conversation, for seniors in the community as well as our own senior members. The programs now offered include Line Dancing; Crafts; Bible Study; Guest Speakers; Movies; Bridge and Euchre.

A home-cooked lunch is provided each week for a reasonable cost. During the year members can sign up for various bus trips to local theatres, concerts, special events etc.

Annual Membership is $20.00; Non-members $2.00 per day. The Centre is open from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. every Thursday, except in July and August.

Elmwood Community Centre is a great place to make new friends, get some exercise for the body and/or the brain, eat great meals and have fun.
