NEW AND EXCITING THINGS ARE
HAPPENING WITHIN OUR CHURCH SCHOOL!
 
 
We have a new co-ordinator of  ministry.to children and  youth. Elise Chambers came  to join us in August 2007.  Elise has many gifts, great enthusiasm, and excellent experience in working with children
and youth.

Elise is in charge of the Childrens' Church School this year with the "Creation" theme. On Thanksgiving Sunday the theme was "Food in a Hungry World: As of November, plans are in the works for Advent. On November 25th, there will be an "Advent Family Event", following the morning service.  We will be making "Chrismons" (symbols of Christ) lunch will be first, and then  activities, and service to follow. On Dec. 9th, there will be a Christmas Pageant during the Church service. The title of this will be "The Other Wise Man". There will be participation  by the children,and other members of the congregation.

One event planned through Presbytery will be  a "One Day Wonder Event" Feb. 23/08 for grades 6-8.
