The Stained Glass of Elmwood
"The Window Over the North Door of the
Sanctuary"
| "Receive the Kingdom of God as a
little child and enter therein". The rainbow symbolizes
the short life of the child in whose memory this window
is dedicated. A beginning, an end, joy and God's promise
of life everlasting. The butterfly represents rebirth
as it flies toward heaven. The rose thistle and maple
leaf indicate the family roots. The daisy represents
innocence and purity. The turtle represents the creatures
of the earth as well as a favourite toy. The songbird
represents music. Dedicated in memory of Barbara (Bobbi)
Lauraine McGhee, in 1979, by her family and friends.
Bobbi McGhee was born August 12, 1971 and died September
18, 1972. |
