The Stained Glass of Elmwood
"Love & Prophecy"
The bright and radiant colours convey
something of a quality of God's love for His world.
Near the top of the right-hand "light", its
head encircled by a tri-radiant nimbus representing
Divinity, is the form of a descending dove. It was in
love to us that God gave His Son and His Spirit.
Below these symbols are people of the world, representing
those of both sexes and of all ages and races. This
window was given to honour the service given by Mr.
& Mrs. Herbert W. Alexander, and Mrs. Catherine
McEwen, and with grateful appreciation of their friend
Mr. John Wigle. It was dedicated in 1968 and donated
by Dr. Annabel McEwen. |
